tunesday | ken gill – ken gill ep
although ken gill is a new name to most, he is apparently a long-standing friend of larry heard and was on the scene when larry and bernard badie worked on music ideas between 1993 and 1997.
now, both, larry and bernard, lend a hand on the opening track „love moon“ of his debut ep. larry´s „psychedelic“ interpretation constructed around bernard´s bassline idea and ken´s original elements sounds like a lost heard classic. elsewhere gill goes solo, delivering stripped-back chicago house bombs on larry´s alleviated records.
