kevin maurice sanderson, one of the three detroit techno innovators, was born in brooklyn, new york in 1964 and moved at the age of nine to detroit, where he attended belleville high school and befriended derrick may and juan atkins. starting out as a dj, kevin soon began producing records and introduced acts like kreem, inner city and reese & santonio. he also had many other aliases too, such as tronik house, kaos, essray, e-dancer or in this case reese.
